Thank you for your podcasts! I listen to them every week for the past several years and always blessed by your brief concise teachings.
Psalm 91 is one of my favorites (most are) and has really helped so many get through some tough times and remind us of how good God is!!
God bless you!
Agreed, Psalm 91 is a memorable one. Glad the podcast is of some use. 🙂
Thank you for this podcast. Thank listen to it all day at work. LOVE IT. My question is in the book of acts (I do believe it is acts) Peter is sent to a Roman’s house to teach him about Jesus. Peter says when he is baptizing him that because he is a believer his entire house is saved. Am I reading this wrong. My son and I where talking about it yesterday.
I find most translations don’t say that there (only Phillips) but a similar verse is in Acts 16 with the Philippian jailor. Did the writer mean that through the jailor’s faith the rest of the household would come to faith or can we use this as a proof text for that my faith can save my whole household. I would be dubious of the later. In general the principle is let scripture interpret scripture, which is to say don’t rely too much on just one verse.
Please, please, please, don’t allow political advertising on your podcast. Liberal, conservative, it makes me sick to hear idiots downing those words, making people they label the enemy. You preach one message, that of God, yet you allow something you can control hijack your message. Don’t forget people think you endorse what is advertised.
All Christians are not conservative and all Christians are not liberal, though if they were honest their true beliefs are a mix of both. Just the terms have been hijacked.
To avoid getting into a political discussion myself, I will leave it there.
Thank you.
I will look into it. I didn’t think I did allow it.
Thank you Pastor Chris. I no longer find the advertisement I felt was political. The fact you cared enough to look into o this means so much.
Thank you for being God’s messenger. I am here to receive with an open mind and heart.
