I am blessed to have had financial success. And I have always struggled with the scripture regarding those who have such success. I haven’t given it all, but so believe, I have always been generous to those in need, both in time, work and money, it I still have much.
I spread the word and, though far from perfect, love and love for God. Ready to go at any rime. No doubt I am saved. Blessed.
I have always read such scripture to really mean people tend to make their money an idol and before God. I think you said in this Bible study, it is the purpose for which you live that is important, not necessarily whether you have wealth or not. People are wealthy on money and bankrupt in faith. Or they can be poor and bankrupt in faith as well. But, often people in need, reach out to God more, maybe feel the need to thank and praise god more sometime, than those for whom everything is going smoothly.
I just wanted to share my thoughts and thank you for your great work for God.
