This one hits home with me and is a challenge.
I don’t give/loan someone money with the expectation it will come back. If it does great, if it doesn’t I don’t think about it.
But, when I work for someone with the understanding and expectation they are to pay, I find it harder to forgive, just let it go. Often times it literally feels like they stole from me. I think the main person that is bothering me right now and I haven’t been able to just truly forgive and let go, may have lost his fancy pickup. It isn’t outside his business any longer. You know what is sad? I find myself finding some pleasure in what I perceive to be his loss.
Maybe today will be the day I can truly forgive and let go. Lord help he with this act of forgiveness as I know I need you to forgive me on a daily basis, and in fact need many other people to forgive me that I have wronged in some way.
