Hi,
I have been following your podcast for about 2 years now and I started from your first podcast (in 2006) and I’ve been going from there ever since. I had a question regarding tithes.. I am not sure that my husband and I can provide .1o% of our income to the church. We are paying off debt at the moment, but would not be opposed to providing the 0.10% when it is paid off completely. Is this wrong to not tithe the 0.10%? Is tithing mandatory after the New Testament and what Jesus has done? I am trying to find a biblical response but the internet is not always biblical. Thanks very much in advance.
Most Christians don’t tithe. I think it is a good spiritual practice and my wife and I do, but no, I don’t think it is manditory.
