  1. Hello…I am richly enjoying your podcast on spotify..Spotify… am sketching and listening to the 1st study on Zephaniah and had a couple of thoughts.

You ask if the prophecy of destruction is 2 fold; if it speaks of a time closer to the time this was written (for the mention of sacrifices being made to moloc amd baal)vas well as much further into the future (mention the Great h Terrible DAY of the Lord)

You state that there isn’t worship of Moloc in current times but I have to disagree. If I’m not mistaken, the majority of the Moloc sacrifices involved children and if you look at our culture today, particularly right now with the normalizing of pedophilia, the grooming of children in our schools by way of the very curriculum that is meant to educate them, our children are being offered up to Satan’s desires by these godless, vile people. But more specific to the mention of moloc- abortion is a sacrifice. Mothers are sacrificing their babies on the altar of convenience under the guise of “my body, my choice”. So I believe that you are both correct and incorrect.. the description of how God will raise His anger against these religious people and against the Christ-deniers is spine-tingling & terrifying. .

Anyways,, just two cents from someone who is not as well read in the Word as you are but from what I do know it seems to fit.

Thank you for these short and sweet messages, my brain is so easily distracted and your messages are so spot on and to the point and it is encouraging that I can stay on task with them???

    1. I would be careful there. It is easy to fall into the snare that people who are not Christian are the enemy. These are our neighbors who we are called to love. Some modern Christian preachers spend more time vilifying non-Christians. That is a dangerous route for the church. Remember that Jesus saved his harshest criticism for religious leaders.
