After the resurrection Thomas missed an important meeting, the one where Jesus showed himself to the disciples. Thomas could not believe this story that the other disciples were telling him. Jesus alive? Ridiculous. Thank God for Thomas and his honest doubt.

Gideon is finally convinced that God wants him to rescue his people from the Midianites and raises an army. Just when things are going well God gives Gideon some unexpected feedback. “You have too many men”.

Gideon is not so sure that this sounds like a good idea. Sometimes when we ask “God, why haven’t you done something?”, God replies “Am I not sending you?”.
