This is the episode is part 11 in the study of the gospel of Luke. Jesus talks about what sort of actions and words he expects to find in Christians. When you come to an apple tree you expect to find apples. When you find a Christian Jesus expects to find someone who is gracious not judgmental and condemning. He expects to find someone who is giving, forgiving and obedient.
Jesus also meets a good man, a man full of faith who understands obedience.

I believe that he centution story is also about a spiritual principle of authority and power. The centuriin had power – to tell his servants what to do etc – and he realized that Jesus’s power came from authority. Hesus has now given us the same authority and we are to exercise the same supernatural power , over demons and sickness etc. It is very remarkable that Jesus refers to his faith as the greatest he had seen, even nore than the others he refered to having faith (woman with the issue if blood etc) and is there so that we can use the power available to us because of the authority He has given us.
