  1. Hi Chris, I have been enjoying you podcasts, however I disagree with your comment about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons) not being biblically sound. Up to this point I have listened to many of your talks and could have probably mistaken you for a member of our church. We believe in a lot of the same things your Church believes in and we are ultimately both Christians. If your going to put someone’s faith down please then back it up with some facts and we could definitely go over common misconceptions. I don’t think it’s wise for anyone who has not been a member before to make such a judgment. I also think it’s counterproductive to your podcast especially since I just listened to your podcast about love. I’ve also heard you mention in a previous podcast how your wife and you went to an unnamed Church and you did not agree with them so you never went back, I liked how you remained somewhat neutral there without mentioning a name and using your podcast to attack another persons faith. I enjoy your podcasts and you are a great teacher I don’t have any hard feelings towards you just saw something I did not agree with and felt prompted to comment on it, thanks for all you do, take care.

    1. Jason, it is difficult to know how to respond to your comment. My concerns with the faith of the Latter Day Saints mostly revolve around the book of Mormon. In my limited exposure to the book, I do not find it to be in all aspects consistent with the bible. It is not a topic I touch on very often in the podcast, nor intend to touch on much more in the future. My emphasis will continue to be on helping people to understand the bible as best as I can. There are many faiths that are different from my faith. While I do seldom talk about different faiths, I hope that all descriptions of the podcast have been very clear that this podcast does, of course, come with a very specific point of view. I will continue to look at the book, at the podcast, and at the world through the eyes of a protestant Christian.
